This extraordinary support was announced at the end of March by the Government to support the most vulnerable families following the rise in inflation, which slowed down to 3.1% in July, the ninth consecutive month of a slowdown in price levels.
The “cheque” is 30 euros per month per household, to be paid quarterly until the end of the year. The first installment began to be paid on April 19, the second on June 19 and now the third installment has been released. The next and, in principle, last payment of the year will be paid in November, with beneficiaries receiving a total of 360 euros.
Payments are made by bank transfer and the beneficiary must, if he has not already done so, update his IBAN, through Social Security Direct, in the 'Profile' menu, option 'Bank account'.
