It is "another large cloud of dust from the Sahara" that will be over southern and central Europe between today and Monday, says a statement from the Copernicus system, adding that 2022 is, and will continue to be, a year with "high dust transport levels across the Mediterranean and parts of Europe".

"The highest values" in the Iberian Peninsula are expected on Saturday and Sunday, the day when the dust, "with very high values" of concentration in the atmosphere, will also reach central Europe.
