According to reports in the British press, Gatwick airport has run out of water, forcing restaurants to close and leaving passengers without the use of toilets.

The cut in the water comes as the UK is experiencing a heat wave.

In an attempt to minimise passengers discomfort, the administration of Gatwick Airport has decided to provide free bottled water to passengers.
