While discussing the State Budget, the PS socialist majority gave the green light to a proposal by the Livre party to carry out, this year, a pilot project with a four-day working week.
This measure is already a reality in some European countries, such as Belgium, and some experts claim it is advantageous for workers and the economy.
4 days? Things are already TOO SLOW in this country (e.g. SEF!).
In the mean time our competitors the Chinese, Indians, etc working 6 days a week. The American start-ups 7 days with long hours every day to change the world.
Europe is simply becoming uncompetitive.
Good thing UK is out, 48 hour working weeks are normal in private companies there.

I agree that Portugal is too slow and if you approve 4 days a week then it will make Portugal workforce more lathargic and incompetent

To Michael Blesh, what the hell are you talking about? Also, are you enjoying your sweet retirement in Portugal while telling other people to work more? Get a grip
