According to the National Maritime Authority, water analyses
carried out by the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) revealed
“microbiological values above the reference parameters, with the water being
unsuitable for bathing” at Praia dos Pescadores, in Ericeira.
The results of the analyses were known yesterday (4 July),
with the captain of the Port of Cascais giving the instruction for the red flag
to be hoisted and placing warnings on the beach.
The beach will be closed for bathing until the values are once
again within normal parameters.
As I see there's no river at that beach, why don't they look who created this pollution? Something dirty must be flowing to that beach!
