The year-on-year rate of change in the Consumer Price Index
(CPI) increased to 9.1% in July, compared to 8.7% in June, the highest value
since November 1992.

According to the quick estimate released by the National
Statistics Institute (INE) “based on the information already gathered, the
year-on-year rate of change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) will have
increased to 9.1% in July (8.7% in June)”.
“This is the highest value recorded since November 1992”, he
underlines.
