The well-known tire brand has recommended five roads to drive in the summer and they are:

Estrada Nacional 222 - Considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world, it extends along the Douro Valley, with truly immersive landscapes, with vineyards and the Douro River forming part of the vistas.

Estrada Nacional 230 - Despite being only 64 km long, this is a good option to appreciate the beauty of Serra da Estrela, with several curves along the way and with several reasons to stop including at the Três Entradas Bridge, the Santo Aleixo Church, the Chapels of Nossa Senhora de Fátima and Nossa Senhora da Saúde and the many springs along the way.

Estrada Nacional 304 - Perfect for getting to know the corners of Serra do Alvão. With wide and permissive curves, this road is surrounded by nature with waterfalls and viewpoints, not forgetting the picturesque villages in the region.

Estrada Nacional 114 - In the Ribatejo region, this road allows us to appreciate all the beauty of the rural landscapes. In addition to the greens of the vineyards, it is possible to explore medieval castles and historic villages.

Estrada Nacional 507 - If we continue down towards the south of mainland Portugal we find the perfect road to appreciate the beauty of the Guadiana River.
