Aderita Artistic Space Gallery opens a new space

Seven guest artists with works in the areas of painting and sculpture will make part of the Art Exhibition 2023 catalogue. These works reveal points of view that the curator Adérita Silva (the mastermind behind this concept) has selected for this new historic space in the country’s southern capital, and with the exclusivity of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

On show will be names such as Angelina Maia (known for her lacy cardboard technique associated with the delicacy of the female body); Paulo Frangolho (whose work is associated with materials such as assemblage and Pop Art); Rosa Pereira (with a matrix portrayed in the most varied areas of painting), Filipe Curado (whose main reference element is the tree); Fátima Sardinha (who finds her uniqueness in the rhythm and colour of her work); Higino Gonçalves (who uses iron, aluminium and stainless steel as materials for expression) and Adérita Silva (known for the colour and movement associated with the abstract).

The Aderita concept has already five prestigious creative spaces throughout the Algarve. After Almancil (the artist hometown, where she opened her first gallery in 2000), Vale do Lobo, Lagoa (Vale D'El Rei) and Quinta do Lago (Casa Velha), this is the culmination of 23 years as a curator. The Aderita Artistic Space Gallery - Palácio de Estoi is, in this sense, a celebration of art, freedom and culture, revealing works that tell a unique story and reflect the soul and diversity of Portugal.

And so, in 2023, Adérita Silva opens the Aderita Artistic Space Gallery in the historic Pestana Pousada Palácio de Estoi: a space for enjoyment, discovery and daring, highlighting today's most promising artists.
