“In Madeira, this weekend, there will be some cloudiness, mainly on the northern slopes and in the highlands. Saturday is the day when there is a probability of periods of light rain or drizzle, which is also more frequent on the northern slopes and highlands”, IPMA meteorologist Maria João Frada told Lusa.
According to the meteorologist, on Sunday, precipitation will be unlikely in the Funchal region.
“If any [rain] occurs, it will be on the northern slopes and highlands and a small increase in the minimum temperature is expected. The wind will be light to moderate north/northeast up to 30 kilometers per hour,” she said.
As for temperatures, in Funchal, they will vary between 18 and 26 degrees, and in Porto Santo between 18 and 23 degrees.
14 candidates are competing for the Madeira legislatures, who will compete for 47 seats in the regional parliament, in a single electoral constituency: ADN, BE, PS, Livre, IL, RIR, CDU (PCP/PEV), Chega, CDS-PP, MPT, PSD, PAN, PTP and JPP.
In 2023, the PSD/CDS coalition won without an absolute majority and elected 23 deputies. The PS got 11, the JPP 5, and Chega 4, while the CDU, the IL, the PAN (which signed a parliamentary influence agreement with the Social Democrats), and the BE obtained 1 mandate each.
