Following this notice, ANA clarifies, in a statement on its official website, that "the situation has already been reported to META" and the company "has already filed a criminal complaint in order to begin the criminal investigation process".

"ANA warns of this fraud, which aims to illegally obtain bank details and requests its reporting", specifies the note.

In this sense, the company responsible for managing Portuguese airports guarantees that it is "making every effort to ensure that the fraudulent page is taken down, as well as the aforementioned publications", as well as hoping that "those responsible are identified and held legally responsible" for the illicit act.
