Specializing in digital tools for real estate agents, the startup aims to streamline the renting, buying, and selling processes for agents across the globe. This latest round of funding was led by Indico Capital Partners, with contributions from Shilling and Bynd, and will help the company expand both its team and its international reach.
Founded in October 2020, Relive is based in Lisbon, but its impact is growing beyond Portugal’s borders. With the new funding, the company plans to increase its workforce and make strategic hires to bolster its operations. The expansion plans are particularly focused on the U.S. market, where Relive has already made its mark in Texas. The goal is to expand into other states, including Florida, Colorado, and Georgia, as part of a broader international growth strategy.
Relive’s innovative business model offers real estate agents an all-digital, mobile platform that empowers them to run their own businesses remotely. Designed for the modern gig economy, it helps agents increase their efficiency and grow their client base, while also enabling them to secure larger commissions more quickly. In less than a year, the company has attracted over 100 active agents and successfully completed more than 50 real estate transactions across Portugal.
The startup’s model is reminiscent of the gig economy’s "Uber-style" platforms, providing agents with the digital tools needed to run a turnkey business from anywhere. Relive’s platform is particularly appealing to younger generations of real estate agents—Millennials and Gen Z—who seek technology-driven solutions and prefer an online-first approach. In contrast to the traditional real estate agent model, which often relies on experience and a vast physical network, Relive is shaping the future of real estate with a focus on digital innovation and social media presence.
Relive’s vision aligns with broader trends in the proptech sector, where technology continues to transform the real estate landscape. As younger, tech-savvy clients look for more efficient, modern ways to engage in the housing market, platforms like Relive are paving the way for a new era of real estate. With the backing of key investors and a clear expansion strategy, the company is set to play a pivotal role in driving innovation and growth within the international real estate market.
