On March 12, the Emirates roadshow will have two recruitment sessions in Lisbon, one at 1pm and another at 6pm, while the following day there will be a new recruitment session at 10am.
The airline recently made significant changes to pilot careers, including higher salaries, new roles and a radical change in eligibility, with four programs for pilots depending on their experience, specifically Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, First Officers Type Rated and Non-Type Rated.
According to the airline, it is not necessary to register in advance to participate in this roadshow, and it is only necessary to attend one of the sessions, in which Emirates will disclose “the airline's recruitment process, available opportunities, training programs, expected career path and benefits”, and it is also possible to talk to pilots currently flying with Emirates.
“Emirates pilots have the opportunity to fly one of the youngest and most modern long-haul fleets in the world and to more than 140 destinations around the globe. They will have the opportunity to undergo intensive in-house training at Emirates training facilities and will also be based in the vibrant city of Dubai. We look forward to having more Portuguese pilots on board our airline as we grow our operations globally,” said David Quito, Emirates Country Manager in Portugal.
Emirates offers a range of benefits to pilots and their families, including “a competitive tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave, a generous allowance for accommodation and education, full medical benefits, discounted travel benefits for family and friends, and more.”
