Lisbon: Rain is to become heavier over the weekend in the capital, although there will be some sunny periods between the showers and temperatures will reach highs of 20 degrees with lows of 12 degrees. The rain is to continue the following week and is only set to ease by Wednesday when temperatures are to rise.
The north: A mixture of sunshine and showers is forecast to continue over the weekend, with the heaviest showers expected on Saturday when temperatures are to reach highs of 20 degrees with lows of 10 degrees. From Wednesday, some prolonged periods of sunshine are expected however, it will remain wet.
The centre: Heavy rain is expected on both Saturday and Sunday with average highs of 20 degrees and lows of 9 degrees. From Monday, the rain is set to ease, but it will still be cloudy with some sunny periods. Temperatures are to then rise as the week progresses up to highs of 22 degrees by Thursday.
The south: Intermittent rain and sunny spells are forecast for Saturday with highs of 20 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. On Sunday, the rain is to become heavier but there will be some sunny periods. Monday is to be mainly dry but showers are to return again on Tuesday. Temperatures are to rise to highs of 23 by Thursday.
Madeira: Sunny spells and rain are expected over the weekend, with the heaviest showers forecast for Saturday when temperatures are to peak at highs of 21 degrees with lows of 15 degrees. The sunshine and showers are to continue for the following week with average highs of 20 degrees.
The Azores: It is to be mainly dry over the weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 18 degrees and lows of 12 degrees; however, there will be a good chance of rain on both days. Rain is to return again from Monday.
