In a statement, the promoter informed that the shows - as part of the presentation of the album “Rainy Sunday Afternoon” - will take place at Aula Magna, in Lisbon, on March 8, 2026, and at Casa da Música, the following day.

“Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the new album was written, produced and arranged by Neil Hannon, best known as the composer and driving force behind The Divine Comedy,” said the promoter.

Having performed in Portugal multiple times throughout their decades-long career, The Divine Comedy was founded in 1989 in Northern Ireland and has already won multiple awards, having released albums such as "Promenade", "Fin de Siècle" or "Regeneration", among others.
