The new prices take effect today (5 October) and last until 31 October.

According to the table of new maximum prices, published on the regulator's website, the value of a nine kilogram (kg) bottle of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) propane was fixed at up to €23.45 euros, but will go down to €23.27.

In the case of T5 type LPG propane, the maximum value for a 35kg bottle was €83.48, now rising to €82.74, a decrease of €0.74.

A T3 type propane bottle weighing 12.5kg will cost 0.19 euros less, going from €27.85 to €27.66.
