2022 will be the hottest
year on record in Spain according to the national weather service
(AEMET).

Preliminary data shows that
the average daily temperature in Spain in 2022 was above 15 degrees.
2022 is also poised to have been one of the driest years on record, with only
2005 and 2017 having less rainfall in a year.
