Relating to restaurants, 72 percent of Germans tend to tip, almost as many as in the US, where workers rely significantly on tips to earn a living wage. 55 percent of Brits tended to tip, followed by 46 percent of Spaniards, 34 percent of French and 31 percent of Swedes. Italy came last with just 24 percent of people tipping.
