According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the yellow warning for those three districts will be in force between 9pm today and 6am on Tuesday.
The IPMA predicts at least until Tuesday the occurrence of precipitation, sometimes heavy, accompanied by hail and thunderstorms.
IPMA's prediction led the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEPC) to appeal to the population to take preventive measures.
Anyone else sick of these ridiculous "warnings"?
Hot in august - warning!
Rain coming in - warning!
Cold in winter - warning!
Windy - warning!
It's the b****y weather, it changes, it gets hot, it gets cold, it rains, it's windy.
What are you actually "warning" your readers about? Putting on a jacket, or rainboots?
This acting like there has never been weather before, is bordering on derangement. Find something else to hyperventilate about.
