Uber One subscribers will now be able to place orders on Uber Eats without paying service and delivery fees, whenever the order exceeds 12 euros. Furthermore, 5% of the price of each trip is returned in Uber Cash, which can be deducted from other trips or deliveries, explains the platform in a statement.
Uber also promises “priority support for members” and “special benefits and exclusive experiences”, without specifying what these are. When there are delays in Uber Eats deliveries, the company pays subscribers two euros, again in the form of Uber Cash.
“On average, only two Uber Eats deliveries per month are enough to offset the monthly subscription payment”, assures Uber. “With Uber One we provide an even more improved experience, presenting an accessible solution to respond to all the mobility and shopping needs of the Portuguese, for the first time, in a single application”, says Francisco Villaça, general director of Uber Portugal, cited in a statement.
“Members can order whatever they want from their favourite restaurants and stores, for themselves or to give to someone else, now without any fees, without worries or obstacles. In addition, they can accumulate discounts on each Uber trip they take. They can go anywhere and order absolutely everything, without limits and as many times as they want, in an even simpler way”, says the general director of Uber Eats in Portugal, Diogo Aires Conceição.
