In a statement sent to Lusa in the early afternoon, the Climáximo movement states that a group of supporters painted the airport and the entrance to the boarding gate area, “while a banner was thrown from the galleries where one could read "New Airport: Climate Collapse".
According to the movement, at least three people were “ detained by the police”.
Activists criticise plans for the construction of a new airport in Lisbon, which they classify as “a crime”.
“To stop the climate crisis, it is necessary to reduce aviation by more than 90% and invest in electric public transport for everyone, not a new airport”, adds the statement.
The Lusa agency questioned ANA, with no response so far.
These people are criminals equal to the 1% rich who really are abusing CO2 footprints.

If they had paid more attention at school in physics, they'd have known that electric transport is not a viable alternative to air travel... Why is no credit ever given for the vast forward leaps in jet engine efficiency over the years? These climate activists have no knowledge, no education, no solutions, only activism...

Here are some actual facts... it's from 2022 so I don't believe it is too far out of date, especially since all planes flying ARE NOT new planes.

These so called climate activists are with totally fake propaganda, these people are guided by certain groups and trained by them to carry out UN agenda 2030. I would like to debate this with anyone in the world.

They have rights you know! They have a right to spend their young adulthood acting like children instead of being productive. They have the right to have a criminal record follow them later in life when they try to find a real job. They have a right not to have to clean up the mess they made...that would definitely be an attitude adjustment right there.
