Journeys made on trams and buses shot up by 24 percent in the first three months of 2024, compared with the same period in 2019, data shows.

The city’s free public transport scheme is available only to residents. According to euronews, it is being funded by "mobility payments" from companies with more than 11 employees, plus ticket sales from non-residents.
