The 21-metre catamaran called the MV Sea Change will transport up to 75 passengers along the waterfront between Pier 41 and the downtown San Francisco ferry terminal starting July 19.
Earlier today, I rode the world's first fully hydrogen-powered ferry named "MV Sea Change". This new ferry boat currently operates between Pier 41 and The Ferry Building. It was also my first time riding @SFBayFerry. It was a fun ride and no fare was needed! pic.twitter.com/GzsaQMocqQ

The service will be free for six months while it's being run as part of a pilot programme.
