According to The Telegraph, this annual pass from Wizzair, called 'All You Can Fly', will actually cost €599 a year, with the €499 a year price announced as a starter offer, valid only until 11pm on Thursday.
There is a catch, however. Flights can only be booked at most 72 hours in advance. Baggage and seat selection are not included in the package and will have to be paid for separately. You are only allowed to take one individual piece of luggage (40x30x20 cm) with you.
Each flight also involves paying a booking fee that is not included in the package.
Initially, Wizz Air will only sell 10,000 unlimited travel packages.
Earlier this year, the UK Civil Aviation Authority ordered Wizz Air to pay more than £1.2 million (around €1.4 million) for flight disruptions. In 2023, its departures from UK airports are estimated to have been delayed by an average of 31 minutes and 36 seconds.
Rather than gimmicks they need to get their act together.
