The predicted value of €100 million represents a drop of 19.48% compared to that estimated for this year in the State Budget for 2024 (OE2024).

In total, the Ministry of Finance expects to collect €325.3 million globally from fines and other penalties. This expected revenue, in addition to fines under the Traffic Code, includes €149.7 million in fines and penalties for infractions, to which is added €36.3 million in late payment interest and €22 million in miscellaneous fines and penalties .

At the same time, it foresees that another €3.2 billion in fees will enter the public coffers, including court fees (€240 million), property registration fees (€175.3 million) and fees for commercial registration (€107.4 million).
