According to industry sources consulted by the Automóvel Club de Portugal (ACP), the price of diesel will fall by 1.5 cents, while petrol is expected to fall by 1 cent.
Diesel, it is worth noting, "costs 1.533 cents per litre this week and will go up to 1.518 cents per litre. Compared to October 1st, it is 0.7 cents cheaper."
Petrol "cost 1.693 cents per litre and fell to 1.683 cents per litre. Compared to October, it is 2.6 cents more expensive."
The ACP recalls that, according to the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG), the average price of a litre of diesel in Portugal on Friday (May 16) was 1.501 euros, while that of petrol was 1.667 euros.
