Government increases minimum wage to €870

The Government has decided to increase the national minimum wage to 870 euros, 50 euros more than the current value, from 2025, announced the Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro.

“We approved the decree-law that increases the national minimum wage, for the year 2025, to 870 euros”, announced António Leitão Amaro, at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting.

The minimum wage is currently set at 820 euros.
