The15 hour Formação +Próxima program will take place between January 24 and February 6, after work hours, between 6pm and 9pm, at the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, in Lagoa.

The training in Portuguese as a Non-Native Language aims to provide participants with the necessary tools to understand the essential topics of a spoken sequence; use with relative correctness a repertoire of routines and frequent formulas associated with everyday professional situations; to pursue free speech in an intelligible manner; improve fluency through staged dialogues and short dramatisations – based on real situations; know how to exchange information in dialogues related to general matters or matters of personal interest; formulate/accept/reject/substantiate an opinion; give and identify instructions.

This training course includes the following contents: Constructions and sentence structures in Portuguese; Daily life and professional context; Vocabulary areas related to Tourism; Practical simulation in a professional context – interaction and feedback; Less common structures – vocabulary consolidation.

The training action is free and certified, subject to mandatory registration and available places.

This training is aimed at professionals in the hotel, tourism, restaurant and other interested parties, whose Portuguese language is not their mother tongue, whether or not they live in the municipality of Lagoa, who wish to acquire or improve their Portuguese language skills, with a focus on customer service.
