At the same time, there is now a monthly maximum limit of €5,000 for incoming transfers, up to a maximum of 50 transactions, according to information available on the MB Way website.
Transferring 2,000 euros in a single transaction through the popular financial application represents a significant increase compared to the 750 euro limit that was in force until now.
There was also another limit of 2,500 euros received and sent per month. But now, the MB Way website makes no reference to this maximum amount of money sent, only mentioning a limit of 5,000 euros received and a maximum of 50 transfers received per month, which already existed previously.
However, this is not the case for everyone. On the ActivoBank website, it is clarified that there is also a limit of 5,000 euros per month for outgoing transfers. On the contrary, the Santander website, for example, cites the same limits indicated on the MB Way website.
ECO contacted Sibs to obtain more information about these changes, including when they came into effect and is awaiting a response.
