In a presentation, in which it reported the results for 2024, Vinci highlighted the increase in passengers in Portugal, with more than 35 million passengers being in Lisbon.
According to the same presentation by the company which owns ANA, last year, of a total of 4,526 million euros in revenue in the airport segment, 28% belonged to ANA, that is, 1,267 million euros.
In 2023, Vinci recorded a value of close to 1,105 million euros in revenue from ANA (28% of 3,947 million euros in total).
According to Vinci, last year ANA's EBITDA (profit before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortisation) represented 30% of the total of 2.883 billion euros in the airport segment, that is, around 865 million euros.
On January 17, the Government informed ANA Aeroportos that it intends to move forward with the application for the new airport, at the Alcochete Shooting Range, and said that the concessionaire's proposal does not foresee a direct contribution from the State Budget.
This decision comes after the delivery of the initial report by ANA, on December 17, with the conditions to move forward with the construction of Luís de Camões Airport, which does not foresee a direct contribution from the State Budget, "in full alignment with the Government in this regard".
ANA was sold to the French company Vinci in 2012 for around three billion euros.
