The action was carried out as part of an “inspection action aimed at AL establishments located in the Algarve Region”.

The body determined the suspension of the AL “due to the lack of mandatory insurance and lack of self-protection security measures, the main objectives of which are to guarantee the maintenance of the security conditions defined in the project and to guarantee a minimum response structure in case of emergency”.

Furthermore, an infringement procedure was opened which will follow “its legal procedures”.

ASAE also assured that “as a criminal police body and market surveillance authority, it will continue to carry out inspection actions, within the scope of its competencies, throughout the national territory, promoting the protection of industrial property and commercial practices and fair competition between economic operators”.
