Uber's B2B delivery service and Leroy Merlin Portugal have established an unprecedented partnership for the deliveries of DIY, construction*, decoration and garden products. With the partnership with Uber Direct, deliveries can be made in up to one hour, from Monday to Sunday, including holidays.

Portugal is the first and, for now, the only market to benefit from this new service, which will allow Leroy Merlin customers to receive products purchased directly through the brand's digital channels with maximum convenience and speed, reinforcing the company's commitment to providing the best possible shopping experience.

“This collaboration with Leroy Merlin Portugal is a global milestone for Uber Direct and demonstrates how our technology can transform the retail sector. We believe that fast delivery will increasingly be a deciding factor for consumers and our goal is to enable companies of any size to offer this service, with access to cutting-edge technology, without the need for additional investment,” says Uber Eats General Manager Francisco Jalles Meneses.

Dalila Tavares, Transport Director at Leroy Merlin Portugal, reinforces that "at Leroy Merlin, we place the customer at the center of everything we do, and personalising the experience is a priority. We believe that each project is unique, and our commitment is to offer agile and innovative solutions that adapt to the needs of each customer, whether in-store, online or upon delivery. The partnership with Uber Direct reinforces this mission, ensuring convenience and flexibility so that our customers receive their products when and how they want. We are excited to work with partners who share our vision of innovation and excellence, allowing us to further raise the level of service and create a truly differentiated shopping experience."

Uber Direct is already available in more than 100 cities in Portugal.
