The amount invested will be used for renovations, decoration and the creation of new spaces and the property and management will remain the same, shares Publituris.

The Onyria Group, which owns the Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel and the Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotel in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais, has entered into a franchising agreement with one of the world’s leading hotel groups, Intercontinental (IHG).

The partnership will allow IHG’s two luxury brands to be associated with the Onyria Group’s hotels in Cascais. The union allows the Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel to become part of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand, which is known for its personalised service. The rebranding will be completed in 2026, according to Publituris, following the renovation of the space.

The hotel will, therefore, have 198 rooms, 10 of them suites. A spa with a renovated gym will also be accessible to guests. Inside the hotel there will be two restaurants and two bars, as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. For golf lovers, there is an 18-hole course. Twelve conference rooms will be available, ready to host meetings and events from the most varied sectors.

In the case of the Onyria Marinha Boutique Hotels and their respective Villas, they will make the transition to the Vignette Collection, says Publituris. The Vignette Collection is a brand that encompasses independent luxury hotels, with a differentiated identity and experiences. Part of the rebranding involves changing the name of the hotel, which will be called Onyria Marinha Cascais - Vignette Collection, a change that will take place before summer arrives.
