Switzerland and the UK are set to launch a new train route that connects London with Geneva, reducing the journey from around 7 and a half hours to about 5 hours, making it a far more worthy competitor to air travel.

This direct rail link seeks to boost tourism, economic growth, and bring people closer together while offering a greener option for passengers.
Although no official timeline has yet been announced, the new route could be inaugurated in the next 5 to 10 years.
