A global survey that set out to determine which countries’ citizens are most likely to believe in the afterlife or spirits has reported the 35-country median at 62 percent when it came to animal spirits, topped by India (83 percent) and Greece (82 percent).

When it comes to the belief in afterlife (64 percent worldwide), it was highest in Indonesia (85 percent) and Turkey (84 percent).
In contrast, Spain (36 percent) and Bangladesh (40 percent) recorded the least belief in animal spirits, whilst Sweden (38 percent) had the lowest rate of believers in the afterlife.
