This is according to a report by TV station SIC, in which the Algarve Tourism Board affirmed that the Directorate-General for Health is preparing specific recommendations for the sector.

We have booked again to holiday in the Algarve - its a wonderful place with its peoples and a little virus scare is not putting us off, nor should it put anyone else off too.

We've just returned to UK from a glorious six days in the Algarve. Fantastic weather, food, gardens, scenery & people.. Used a hand sanitiser & wipes when we were on public transport, in restaurants etc. Was awful returning to media - fuelled doomsday scenarios in UK today.. Wish could have stayed in Algarve till Autumn..
