According to a statement published on the Tax and Customs Authority’s web page, the aim of this e-mail is for the recipient to download a virus onto their computer.

The fake e-mail message claims that a tax debtors’ list is being updated and that the taxpayer should make a payment to be excluded from this list followed by a request to download an invoice, which is in fact a virus.
