State support for the purchase and installation of chargers for electric cars will be given to condominiums. The notice and regulation of the programme to encourage the acquisition of environmentally friendly vehicles for 2022, which has a total budget of around €10 million, should be published later this week, according to Jornal de Notícias.

Beneficiaries of this support can obtain a contribution of up to €1,800 (80% of expenses) for each parking space, and the equipment will be connected to the Mobi.E network. With chargers it will be possible to separate electricity consumption for charging purposes from the metering in common parts of the building.
