Dedicated to excellence
Suzi Bawden expertly leads the fantastic guest services team. Having been considered a semi-finalist for the ‘Employee of the Year’ at the 2022 Algarve Business Awards, this alone speaks volumes about her approach to guest experiences.
Working alongside Suzi are Abir and Andre, who share Suzi’s passion for giving our guests a holiday to remember. Suzi says, “Happy guests mean a very happy team. Seeing the smiles on our guest's faces, and reading the positive feedback they send really makes it all worthwhile. We love the fast-paced nature of what we do, and wouldn’t have it any other way!”
An experience like no other
From the moment a guest secures a booking, the team become their official travel guide. Helping with all pre-arrival queries, organising airport transfers and helping guests plan their itinerary is all in a day's work.
All of our guests receive a ‘welcome basket’ from SandyBlue which is made up, not only of the essential starting items but also of locally sourced and produced products – from our premium olive oil to our vegan, handmade amenities. For the little ones, we provide a children's pack with some holiday essentials, including a water bottle and beach ball.
We also offer a special occasions service, should the incoming guests be visiting the Algarve for a big milestone birthday or an anniversary. Our range of in-villa services also offers what no other villa rental company can. From private chefs to spa treatments, guests can experience it all from the comfort of their accommodation.
One example really sticks out - we had a guest who had decided to propose to his girlfriend during our busiest season. He contacted us 4 days before he wanted to do it. The short notice did not stop the team. We arranged the restaurant, a photographer and a plane with a banner to do the asking. This was all very last minute but we were happy to assist. Of course, it all ended with the bride-to-be saying yes!
