“By the end of the year we want to launch the public tender for the concession to operate the Tavira Camping Park, located on that barrier island of the Ria Formosa, in the district of Faro", said Ana Paula Martins.

The mayor guaranteed that the specifications to be given to the new manager will “protect acquired rights of regular users, employees and residents in the municipality”, namely through a “special precarious provision”.

According to Ana Paula Fernandes, the council has already approved the specifications, which are not yet public, with the Tavira Municipal Assembly having sanctioned the general conditions of the future concession.
