According to a source from the Viana do Castelo GNR Territorial Command, the elderly woman is doing well.

A source from the Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of Viana do Castelo said that resources have already been sent to the location to assess the elderly woman's health status.

At around 9:30 am, search operations mobilized 22 operatives and nine fire and GNR vehicles, in Bouças Donas, in the parish of Cabana Maior, in the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez, Viana do Castelo district.

The elderly woman was last seen “when she was visiting friends” in the area.

The alert for the woman's disappearance was given at 3:46 pm on Saturday.
