The district of Faro has been placed under yellow warning due to rough seas expected from 9pm today (28 April), according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

According to the IPMA, in a statement, waves from the southeast are expected on the south coast, with more than two metres in height.
The yellow warning will be valid until 3pm on Tuesday.
