“The big highlight from Portugal is the new route between Funchal and Amsterdam, which will take off on November 5, 2024, for the first time”, highlights the airline, revealing that this operation will feature two flights per week and will continue throughout the year.
According to José Lopes, general director of easyJet Portugal, this new route will contribute to “diversifying the range of destinations for Madeirans”, while also facilitating “entry to the island for tourists from other parts of Europe”.
“easyJet thus maintains its commitment to continuing to boost and connect the Madeira archipelago with the rest of Europe. It is something that is very important to us and we will continue to do our best to, in the future, add more routes to those already available, as we want our customers to have access to an increasingly diverse offer”.
In addition to these flights, easyJet will offer 12 other international routes departing from the Madeiran capital.
Easy Jet is a scam airline.
We booked 3 months prior to our flight. Flew to Lisbon to connect to Easy Jet to Madeira
Only to get on the plane and then removed on tarmac because they overbooked.
