Of the 14 populous municipalities, Funchal stood out with an increase of 17.6 percentage points, the municipality of Porto, with an increase of 3.6 points, and Lisbon, which increased by 0.5 percentage points.
The municipalities of Lisbon (4,190 euros/m2), Cascais (3,881 euros/m2), and Oeiras (3,281 euros/m2) had the highest housing prices.
In the opposite direction, there was a slowdown in housing prices in ten of the 24 municipalities with more than 100,000 inhabitants.
In Greater Lisbon and the Porto Metropolitan Area, the median price of transactions carried out by buyers with tax domicile abroad exceeded by 82.3% and 47.5%, respectively, the price of transactions by buyers with tax domicile in national territory.
The median housing price increased, compared to the same period in 2023, in 19 of the 26 NUTS III sub-regions (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for statistical purposes), with emphasis on Baixo Alentejo, which grew 28.5%.
