This platform, which is the result of the full dedication of CP's internal teams, was developed by the company's own workers and represents a significant advance in the railway mobility experience.
The “Information in Real Time” functionality offers an accurate and continuous consultation of the circulation status of trains across CP's entire service network, from Alfa Pendular to Urban Trains, and customers can follow updates on timetables, delays and line stop directly on the cp.pt website and on the CP APP.
Through the “Next Trains” section, passengers can immediately check the circulation status of each service, receiving alerts about delays exceeding five minutes on long and medium-distance services (Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, Regional and InterRegional) and three minutes on Urban services.
This technological solution is the result of integrated work between several CP teams, especially those from Information Systems, Commercial and Operations, which were decisive in ensuring the accuracy of the data and the robust functioning of the platform. “Developing this platform internally reflects CP’s commitment to applying the experience of its professionals to improve operations and respond directly to the needs of its passengers,” says CP, in a statement.
