According to Postal, the festivities will kick off with a Santa Claus Parade, featuring the participation from Castro Marim’s motorcyclists. Admission to the event is free.

Visitors can explore a Christmas Market offering regional products, Christmas sweets, and freshly baked bread. Additional entertainment includes tea houses, traditional delicacies, face painting, and the Santa’s House, opening daily from 2.30pm.

This programme will also involve street performances by Pardais à Solta, carousels and bouncy castles, donkey rides, farm animals and a traditional Christmas bonfire.

Each day, festivities will consist of Christmas carols, performed by Grupoo Cancioneiro Amigos do Montenegro, Grupo Cancioneiro de Faro, and Grupo Etnográfico Amendoeiras em Flor, respectively.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas in the picturesque traditional setting of the Algarve’s hills”, the Municipality of Castro Marim stated.
