In internal information, Luz Saúde reported that it made an agreement with the C2 MedCapital fund and began to control new hospital units in the Algarve (one hospital and five clinics), in Covilhã (a hospital still under construction) and in Lisbon and Porto.

Luz Saúde says that with this business it arrives, for the first time, in the Algarve region.

He also considers that with this portfolio of units, which has a turnover of over 25 million euros, "the potential for healthcare synergies within the Hospital da Luz network increases, particularly with the expansion of healthcare activity throughout the southern region of the country".

This agreement between Luz Saúde and C2 MedCapital is subject to the 'green light' from the Competition Authority, which is why it is expected to be concluded by the end of the first quarter of 2025.

Luz Saúde is owned by Fidelidade, which, in turn, is majority-owned by the Chinese group Fosun International.
