The north: Some light showers and prolonged sunny periods are predicted for Saturday however it will be feeling cold with highs of 15 degrees and lows of -1 degrees. On Sunday it is to be mainly dry but cloud cover is to increase. From Monday the rain is to return again, becoming heavy on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The centre: A dry and bright Saturday is forecast with highs of 14 degrees and nightly lows of 1 degree. Sunday is to be overcast but will feel slightly warmer at night with lows of 3 degrees. From Monday the rain is to return with heavy showers expected and average daily highs of 14 degrees and lows of 7 degrees.

The south: A mixture of heavy cloud and sunny periods is forecast for the weekend with highs of 17 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. From Monday the rain is to return with heavy showers and sunny spells, with highs of 18 degrees and average nightly lows of 10 degrees. The rain is set to continue for the rest of the week.

Madeira: The rain is to ease briefly on Saturday when temperatures are to peak at highs of 20 degrees with lows of 15 degrees. On Sunday a grey day is expected with rain throughout the day and highs of 20 degrees.

The Azores: A mixture of sunshine and heavy showers is expected all weekend and then to continue into the following week with temperatures averaging highs of 18 degrees on Saturday and lows of 13 degrees.
