Officers also seized around 20 kilos of drugs, including heroin, cocaine and hashish, during the crackdown.
In a press conference held earlier today police Commissioner Nelson Ribeiro said the operation was staged on Saturday morning following a two-month investigation.
Two men and two women aged 17 to 41 were arrested.
An investigation into how the set-up worked is ongoing.
