The concessionaire announced that “on January 1, 2024, the new toll tariff will come into force on its network", indicating that, "in this sense, and in accordance with the mechanisms provided for in the applicable legislation, toll tariffs will register in 2024 an update of 2.1%".
According to Brisa, despite the increase, "there are cases of toll rates that show a variation below the average or even zero, and in other cases, toll rates show a variation above the average, as they have not been updated in previous years".
"Only 33 of the 93 toll rates applied to Class 1 vehicles will be updated", and, of the total tolls applicable on the Brisa Autoestradas network, 40% will remain in 2024 without changes in value compared to 2023.
At the same time, 65% of class 1 rates maintain values from 2023, indicated Brisa.
Among the routes where the price remains unchanged is a Lisbon-Cascais or Ermesinde-Valongo trip.
