According to the same source, the price of diesel is expected to increase by 4 cents per litre and petrol by 1.5 cents.

If these predictions are confirmed, the average price of simple diesel fuel should be 1.557 euros per litre while simple 95 petrol should be 1.711 euros per litre.

It should be noted that the average price of a litre of petrol in Portugal on Thursday (13 June) was 1,696 euros while that of diesel was worth 1,517 euros, according to data from the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG).

These forecasts for the cost of fuel take into account the maintenance of extraordinary tax reduction measures applied by the Government, to mitigate the rise in prices.
